QuestionMy wife and I separated 10 years ago. I left and my wife remained in our marital home. Although the house continued to be in my name, I did not pay any mortgage on the house, my wife lived there and she paid for everything. We got divorced last year but we never agreed on the division of our marital home. What should I do to get my house back?

AnswerYou can't get it completely back. But you should start action for partition - division of the marital home. The proceeds would normally be divided 50/50 but you may be required to reimburse your former wife for your share of mortgage, taxes, improvements when the house is sold.
