Does the Mother have a legal obligation pursuant to the Russian Law to inform the Father of the child’s residential address and what school he attends in Russia?
According to the Article 66 part 4 of the Family Code of Russian Federation, a parent, who lives separately from a child, has the right to get information about the child from schools, medical offices, social services. Therefore, the Defendant has the rights to obtain information directly from institutions. The Law of the Court order doesn’t contain any obligation for the custodial parent to share information with non-custodial parent.
